NaNO ReeFiN
Very nice looking tank. May I interest you in a mag-float.. Link to comment
Acoustic
You have all the EXTREMELY hard corals. I don't think I have ever seen a flowerpot and elegance coral in the same tank together. Good luck with them. I hope you don't get flamed to much for that. (unsolicited advice) - Elegance corals and flowerpot corals are sand dwelling that need a nutrient (almost mucky water conditions) rich environment to survive. Link to comment
TheOtherDay
Ok.. Sorry didn't reply sooner. The tank is 24x20x20. 1 175Watt 20k MH 2 28wat Atinics I do have a mag float, I always seem to miss alge after scraping and I dont see it till well later on As far as the Elegance and the Goni, I am aware of what they require. The only thing I do not provide them is a sand bed at this time. In order to keep them healthy I do 2 things: 1) Heavy Feedings. 2) Skimmer on a roatation 1week on 1week off. Also I have found that alternating salts during the water changes also helps with their "happiness" If I get flammed for keeping them so be it, I have always loved those 2 kinds of corals and intend to figure out what the best is to keep them. (I will be moving both eventually into a 75gal tank with a DSB). Link to comment
