New AGA 10w Mini-Compact Bulb

I just set up a 5-gallon AGA minibow. I took out the 18w fluorescent screw-in bulb the hood came with and replaced it with an AGA 10w mini-compact fluorescent bulb. It equals 50w/6500K output and costs about $10. I put some zoos, ricordia and green star polyps in the tank (obviously, I plan to keep it simple) and they all seem to be doing quite well, however its only been a week.

 

So far I give this screw-in bulb a thumbs up. I'll post some pictures soon.

Yes photos please! I have a 5gallon minibow that could use some lighting and I've considered that light, but was waiting for someone else to guinea pig it first. Thanks for being the guinea pig.
