Chyendra
My dad is going to toss his 29 gallon, so i'm going to take it from him to use with my soon to be reef tank. Now i know it would make more sense to make the 29 my main tank, and the 20L my sump/fuge but the 29 (glass) is all scratched up so it would have to be the other way around.. is a 29 gallon fuge way overkill for only a 20L tank? id only put a deepsand bed, live rock and micro algea in the 29 so could i keep more fish in my 20L then i could if i didn't have the sump? FlyGTI
No, that's a great idea. I wouldn't consider 29 gallons to be overkill at all. And if you make it down to Lansing, go see Rick Preuss over at Preuss' Pets. He'll steer you in the right direction. Link to comment
wetworx101
On my next nano, I am planning on seperate fuge, plenum, and sump sections totalling somewhere between 60 to 80 gallons...all for a 20-30gallon tank. Link to comment
Chyendra
great! that's probably what i'll do then. as far as a deep sand bed in it, about 4"? or deeper? Link to comment
