Trapper125 Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Once gunk starts to accumulate on the neck of the skimmer the bubbles do not rise up as well and skimmate quality is greatly reduced. I used to clean mine weekly before swapping it for a Tunze 9002. Link to comment

StevieT Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 I never did, since it never collected anything, just made noise and made me Serious: maybe every 2-3 weeks, and it was only the neck that got cleaned. If you haven't cleaned it in 4 months, I would say it is def. time! Link to comment
