121a
your fine. That is actually considered the low side for reefs, so IMO your within the accepted range. Happy Holidays. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
do not use sea salt for food. just keep up with replacing water that has evaporated (top-off with freshwater not more saltwater). Link to comment
marinetanker
ok, so this is safe and wont affect my corals or fish? merry christmas to you all Link to comment
javisaman
1.021 - 1.022 sg is not an emergency. I've seen LFS's run their tanks with specific gravity as low as 1.019. Link to comment

javisaman
You didn't waste anyone's time. If people didn't ask questions there wouldn't be a forum . Happy Holidays! Link to comment
maxijazz
No you didnt waste anybodys time, but make sure when the holidays are over and you get your salt (proper slat mix ) you raise the salinty slowly up to the level your happy with. Steady salinty is more important than the range your at. Link to comment
luv-the-rics
actually if you skip a top off for a day depending on how much evap you have it will raise your salinity to the proper level. Link to comment
Rocket
If you want to get back to a 1.026 range just let the evaporation take care of it. Make sure you keep enough water in the tank though so your equipment still functions. Salt does not evaporate only water does. Link to comment
pismo_reefer
^+1...just skip a top-off.... my LFS keeps their frag tanks @ .019, because they get shipments everyday and the low salinity makes for easier acclimation and less possibility of disease. Link to comment
