reefsrule
My snail died about a week ago (I had him for about 2.5 weeks). I bought him with a hermit crab who is doing fine now. My tank levels are ammonia-0, nitrite and nitrate 0, and ph 8.3. Do you think it died because of traces of copper or maybe improper acclimation? Is it normal and should I be worried? Link to comment
ELGORDOINAVW
maybe your hermit attacked it. once i bought 25 margarita snails and my hermits killed everyone of them. but you shouldn't have any copper problems unless you used copper in that tank before. if you are unsure or worried take it to a lfs. cheers- Link to comment
reefsrule
I pretty sure the crab didn't kill him. The crab is smaller and the snail seemed to just hide all the time. Then he moved toward the cage and sat there. Link to comment
