clownfish1124
what are your thoughts on a Deep Sand Bed in a Sandeep's All In One? I was thinking about it for my friend's 2.5 SAIO while we were painting the acrylic and glass today. Link to comment
Scott Riemer
I'm not a fan of DSB in a nano. Link to comment
clownfish1124
oh, but aren't they beneficial in filtration and stuff? Link to comment
jonrx
I have a DSB and I'd remove it in a second if I wasn't planning on adding a wrasse to the tank. Agree with Scott. I'm not a fan of it unless you truly need it for certain fish species or something. Just looks ugly and I don't think a nano needs that much of a sand bed. If it's an all in one and you can remote the DSB somewhere, go with that. At least it'll help slightly with nitrogen reduction. Link to comment
clownfish1124
cool, i was thinking of putting it in the fuge. but then there wouldn't be enough space for macro. nevermind Link to comment
