ralegen
Hey guys.. Which one would you get? I can't drill because I'm sure I have tempered glass. So, i'm planning on going with one of these overflows for my sump. It's for a 20 gallon tank going to a 10 gallon sump. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=2347162030 for $49.97 or http://lifereef.com/frame.html for $89.99? I would really appreciate your input nano enthusiasts!! Link to comment
wetworx101
Try championlighting.com or marinedepot.com or reeffanatic.com for possibly cheaper alternatives from CPR (low profile in tank as well) or possibly the tidepool SOS skimmer. Last time I think I saw the CPRs starting at $60 over at marinedepot. Great deal on a great skimmer box IMO. Link to comment
foo
That overflow is a bit largish. The overflow cup in the tank measures: 5" high x 6.5" wide x 2.5" deep. But the U tube makes it somewhat taller than 5". I have CPR CS90 on a 50G tank and I like it a lot. I think it looks better than the overflows with the U-Tube. But they do cost more unfortunately. The CPR CS50 doesn't extend as far into the tank. 5.375" high x 6.875" wide x 1.5" deep marinedepot.com info: Model CS50 CS90 Price $66 $87Width 6 7/8" 8 1/8"A 6 11/16" 7 1/8"B 8" 9 1/2"C 1 1/2" 1 3/8"D 3 13/16" 4 3/8"E 1 3/8" 1 1/2"F 4 13/16" 5 1/8"G 7 5/16" 8 3/4"H 5 3/8" 3 5/16"I 3 3/8" 3 5/16"J 2 3/4" 2 3/4"K 3 1/8" 3 1/2" Link to comment
ralegen
Thanks guys. I was about to buy the one off of ebay, but I like the one from marine depot better. I'm gonna go with that. $66.00 isn't much.. I'll go with the better one.. Thanks again!! Link to comment
