apophis924 Posted December 20, 2008 Share Posted December 20, 2008 Normally I use detox2 in my skimmer and polyfilter pads in my aquaclear mini. I ran out of poly pads and i put in the carbon bag sold with the aqua clear mini, My xenia,almost melted, they were dark and shriveled up. I removed the carbon bag when i got my poly pad order in. Now my xenia after a few days are back tp pulsing and reaching for the sky. I dont know if it is carbon since the detox media has carbon in it. But the carbon was the ONLY thing i changed, went from poly pads to carbon in aquaclear mini. Anyone else ever experience this effect. Link to comment
