winterparkmg Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 I built a pretty Gucci breeder for just a few bucks. We all know of the inverted coke-bottle method with an air-pump, but I got a flower vase from Walmart, took a Dremel with a diamond bit (the little ball on a post type), put a hols in the bottom just large enough for an 1/8" airhose, siliconed it in, and built a small wood base for it to allow the hose to come up through the bottom without being pinched by the weight of the vase and water. Attach a small pump to keep the water circulating, and you have a nice breeder that took :30 of work, not including silicone curing time. I'll provide pics later when I get home.
