wax32
Every so often, like anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, my eheim canister releases a huge burst of microbubbles into my tank. They kind of blow around in the current from my nanostream and dissipate rather quickly (within seconds). I'm not sure if this is actually causing any problems. So I guess I have two questions: 1) IS this a problem other than a periodic lack of visibility? 2) How can I fix this? Thanks for looking! Another shot: Link to comment
dovla
1) Yes, something related to oxygen being irritant to corals 2) You have loose connection somewhere. I had/have the same problem and initially thought that its in Ecco’s design to burst air (intended for f/w planted tank), but then I found that part of my hard-tubing (close to pH probe holder) is not tight.
