Finally getting around to turning the 6 gal show tank into a fuge and moving the corals over to a 10 gal. I got the back of the 10 gal drilled with a 3/4 intake. I'm planning on running a SCWD off of a Cap-1800. I'm estimating around 4 feet of tubing, which the handy graph on the side of the box says will result in about 380 gph of flow. I'm planning on doing hanging returns (not drilled) on opposite sides of the tank. Think this will be enough flow for my SPS? I've got acro, monti digi and monti cap frags. If not, I've still got an Aquaclear 150 and a Rio 90 I can supplement with.

Oh, and all I've read about the SCWDs has been glowing. Anyone not fond of them?

This is my first fuge project, so any tips or things I should look out for are welcome.

I dont know about that pump but for an example I am running a Mag7 (700gph) with a SCWD setup exactly like you are going to do. PLENTY of flow for SPS and the scwd switches at a decent rate.
