Félix Flores Posted September 17, 2003 Share Posted September 17, 2003 I am buying the equipment for my 10 gallon aquarium so I went last saturday to Laredo TX, and bought a 20 lbs bag of Aragonite reef sand, but when I got home I found that this bag was supposed to be used before November of 2002. What should I do? Which would be the effects of using this sand? All your comments will be appreciated. Thank you Link to comment
bneyman Posted September 17, 2003 Share Posted September 17, 2003 If it's supposed to be live sand, and you have the ability to take it back, I would, and if it's too far to take back, you could just go ahead and use it, but I would suspect that it wouldn't be as "live" as it was supposed to be. You just might want to rinse it more thoroughly to get rid of the detritus accumulation. Link to comment
