Dead Pollyps

I got a piece of rock with some yellow polyps on it recently and mounted the rock in my tank. During the whole process it looks as if a few of the polyps on the edges aren't going to make it. They look brown and limp. Do I let them be and die off. Or should I remove the obviously dead ones from the tank?

I found a thread that answered my question. I should have looked first. I'm going to remove the dying polyps from the tank. They probably got squished when I was mounting the rock. That whole process is not as easy as it looks. Epoxy doesn't harden fast under water. Ended up molding to ends of a piece of epoxy then letting it dry then gluing both ends of the epoxy to the rock I wanted to attach.
