Heater(s) for 125 Gallon

Well as I have only a 75 watt heater I will need to upgrade.

 

What heater and wattage to get for a 125 gallon tank. I have heard dual heaters is a good idea on a large tank. Not sure on this idea though as I have heard matching temp control is going to be hard.

 

Also I should mention the tank is in the basement where we do not heat. Meaning a stable 55F all year long. I like keeping my tanks at 77-78F.

get a 250w stealth heater. two of them 2. attach them to a ranco controller or an acjr or equivalent controller.
