I bought a rock with a bunch of ric's and shrooms on it and when I put them in the tank on of the ric's a couple of days later developed a hole straight through it where it's mouth was and some slimey white stuff. Over the next few days it looked as if some thing was eating a little bit of it every night because the hole at it's mouth became bigger and bigger with every day, and I didn't think it was self splitting because it looked more as if it were being ripped apart or eaten. After about 1 and a 1/2 weeks that one ric turned in to 2 ric's, so it seems that it was just spliting. These were also my first corals so I didn't know what was happening, but all turned out well.
