WhiteShark Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 I'm getting ready to put together my 1st tank and I'm currently piecing together all the plumbing parts. I picked up some Ace hardware PVC cement. Is there any reason why anyone things I should not use this particular brand or item (I don't wanna poison the tank before I even get started). er1c_the_reefer Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 you're fine. prime it, glue it, let it set for 24 hrs before using. granted what i stated it the ideal. i rarely let it set more than 15 minutes before running water through the pipes. Link to comment
