tlyee63
ok here it goes just finished making my 9.5 gal nao plexi tank.bought 2 32 smart light retro's,and being the kid in me had to play with it before i had them installed in the hood.well I broke a bulb made a cool pop noise though,so I'm running 1 32 smart bulb but dont care for the looks, the tank is too blue.what type of light 's and what combo for live rock should I run ,maybe corals later Link to comment
printerdown01
Lower lighting will actually cause rapid coralline growth, and the bluer the better (for coralline). I actually just got a 32W CSL myself... I have heard that the blue settles to a lower level within a week...? Sorry, but I cannot affirm that... My recommendation would be to run 1 of them until you are ready to add corals... then put the second on in. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
The heavy blue look does go away after about 2-3 days of burning on 12 hour cycles. Link to comment
