dustins
I've decided to put together a nano tank using some things I've had kicking around for a while. I have a tall 11 gallon (via aqua) complete with a PC light as well as a never-used Rena XP2 canister filter. The XP2 (along with the LR in the tank) will be the sole means of filtration. My question is, what should I run in it? Ideally, I would like to mod it into a closed fuge but am having trouble finding submersible leds. Any other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Dustin Link to comment
evilc66
Water might be a good start to run in the filter (sorry, I had to) If you want to add a fuge into the canister, look into 10W halogen pond lights. They will work a lot better than LEDs. Beyond adding the fuge, running a media bag with carbon or phosphate remover is a good idea. Link to comment
WhiteShark
+1 on some sort of activated carbon...And a protein skimmer (or do weekly water changes whichever is easier) Link to comment
nckwrn
Maybe some Marineland Diamond Blend, filter floss, and some crushed LR. Link to comment
