Differences in ALk vs Dkh

dKh is a German term (degrees of Carbonate hardness) and unit of measure for total alkalinity. Other units sometimes used are meq/L (milliequivalents per Liter) and ppm of Calcium hardness.

It depends on which test kit you are using as to which unit is used. For a discussion of alkalinity look here
