trailguide
Looking to start a nano in a 2.5 AG aquarium, and am about to order the 13w PC from Aquarium Hobbyist Supply, did not know how many would fit over a 2.5. i am building a wood canopy for it. does anyone have a system like this? if so how many will fit? i know that if i do one 13w it will give me 5.2 watts per gallon, but kind of wanted to use their 13w combo and a 13w actinic. any help would be greatly welcomed. by the way i'm new here. tlyee63
I've used the 13's from them and if you have room get the reflectors for them makes abig difference,as for the size what are yor dimensions,AHS list their dimensions for their kits remember to have plenty of ventlation.those 13'S put out a lot of heat, also recommend moutng the ballast as far as possible away from the canopy to keep the heat down and your ballast away from the saltwater, the ballast are rated for outdoor use-but still er on the side of caution Link to comment
