alexmsw
I am about to start a 20L. What kind and where did you get your sand? Nice looking tank by the way Link to comment
Kalanianaole
Are you spot feeding or doing any special for the dendro? If so, what kind of response have you been getting? Link to comment
swlee99
It's the Arognite Live sand in a 20lb bag, there is water in the seal bag(it claims you can add fish instantly, although I never did it), almost most of the aquarium stores have it, it's $20. I cycle my 20g with this LS and LR plus about 3g old water from my friend's mature tank, and it only took me 4 weeks to reach a stable cycled tank(ammonia 0.1, nitrite 0, nitrate <5) I did started adding hardy fishes in the 2nd week. No, I don't spot feeding my dendro, I just feed my fishes with brain shrimps one time a day, and let all the corals feed on the leftover debris food. I also noticed that dendro opens and closes on its own will(seems like), eg. 7:00pm I was home, light was on, it opens, an hour later lt closed, 2 hours later it partially opend, this morning, with light off it opend! very interesting Link to comment
