Pbanda on RC has the color that I want and I awaiting the reply. My House Glows Purple with 2 Actinics, 1 aquasun and 1 50/50. All my coral Glows like it is Radio active though. As soon as My tank Mature's I will be adding a Maxima under 4x75 VHO on a 20H. MY Derasa is loving the Light and all my SPS's are beautiful. Link to comment
Vandur Posted September 12, 2003 Author Share Posted September 12, 2003 Jahkaya, I am adding a third VHO 75W Actinic to my hood tonight/tomorrow morning, and you are right about the radio-activity. My 'shrooms look like they are from another planet. BTW - if you want to reduce the pink, and you are using the 4 bulb setup, try placing the two actinics on the outside (i.e. one near the front glass and one near the back of the tank - with the Aquasun & the 50/50 in the middle). Or if it still doesn't look quite right, try blue-blue-white-50/50. If what I hear is correct, those aquasun's are even more pink then the Actinic Whites.. Hehe. ~V Link to comment
