rockryno Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 im having issues with my current heater. i set the thing for 76 but it will go through swings where its on and the twmp hits 80, then shuts off again, back to 76. told my LFS and they recommended the Rena Smart 50 w heater they had. anyone have any experience with these? thing was $40, thought what might be a bit high for a heater. Any other suggestions for a small 7 gal? Link to comment

jm82792 Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 The stealth made my tank hit 90F(set to 78) now that's reliable I only had shrooms at the time at least I tossed in a 50 watt Tetra Heater they are cheap but it worked great right on 78F Link to comment
