BC29 Skimmer

Hey, I want to get a skimmer on my BC29, but idk what will fit in the rear compartments. I would prefer not to do any mods to the stock lid which I'm using, but at most I can rip the back panel off the top of the lid if that helps. Ive seen people use the AquaC Remora but most had an open top.

Any suggestions for my case? Thanks.

if you want to keep the hood intact, then you have 4 options -

1) biocube skimmer - airstone driven, only ~$40, not great but perfect when you only plan to keep lesser corals; only skimmer to fit into the first chamber (enables chamber 2 to be fuge)

2) Sapphire BC29R, Tunze 9002, CPR SR3 - all very good skimmers, but will run in the $150-175 range. Fit in chamber 2, so chamber 1 becomes the fuge.

Unfortunately, those are your choices. If you're interested in the biocube skimmer, i'll hook you up since I recently got the SR3. PM me. The BC skimmer works too, but just don't expect to pull any really nasty crap out - it's not that good.
