MKramer
As a side gig, I design custom electronics for performance cars.... My main product is a sensor interface and data logger using in race cars (albeit, amateur ones). I was thinking it would be extremely easy to adapt this system to aquariums, but my knowledge of water sensors is a little weak compare to what I know about automotive-related sensors. Are there probes and other types of sensors available for testing such things as temperature, specific gravity, pH, Ammonia, and the like, that won't introduce too much of a current into the tank water? I know I've seen some as part of sensor suites, but I want them without the controller, so I can use my own. Link to comment
jtower1969
That would be a cool idea...than you could hook it up to an email program to send a warning to a cell phone or pager...... Link to comment
