newbiefishgirl
Ok, who out there has them in there nano tanks???? Can anyone give me any feedback? If you have one do you have it turned way down low. I droped mine in the tank,... dont know if its turned up too high or what but it damn near blew the clown out of the water... he did not like that strong current. Let me know if you think I should have one less strong for my 10 gal. Thanks guys Link to comment
surfy
I run them in all my tanks. Also I have one in my 7g nano and I turn it down about half way. Since the 180 is the smallest one I can find in my area I have to use it. Put it on the opposite side of the HOB so you get a little more random current throughout the tank. Link to comment
otwizzle
Got 2 in my tank, one on each side. Flow turned down about one third. Plus Penguin 125 for flow and Prizm skimmer Alot of water movement, but it's not like tidal waves in there. Just enough so nothing is stagnant OT Link to comment
Phish
I have a Rio 90 in my 10g W/ Aqua Clear Mini for around 180gph or flow total (rio and aqua clear) and it works fine for me, but Rio's suck, they burn out all the time, Until know I never read a good 'review' of a rio powerhead... hobbzz
Try these if you think you have too much flow. I have one in my 10 gal, but IMO it's not enough... Link to comment
