Nanocube6 or Biocube8

I'm pretty new to the saltwater aqaurium. I've had 1 in the past but it didn't turn out so well. I've done lots of research and I'm determined to do what it takes to be successfull this time. I'm having a hard time time deciding between the nanocube6 or biocube8. Space is an issue so I'm choosing from these 2. Also I've seen lots of different ways to set up the back chambers and I'm not sure what to do with those. My wife is all kinds of PO'd about me starting a new one so I need to do it right. I'm planning on no fish, just a reef, as I'm not home but 4 days a week because of work. Your opinions are appreciated.

if it was my choice i would go with the biocube better lighting and 2 gal bigger

I've had the biocube8 for over a year,with very little trouble.

I've tried the fuge in the back and it works ok,but Ive gone back to using the bioballs since.I have filter floss in the top tray over the balls,and chamber one open with the spillway open more to increase flow.I also put a rio pump in it for better circulation.
