plapczynski
I have had my nano-reef setup for about a month now. 10 Gallon with 22 lbs LR and a small clean-up crew and a single damsel. When doing a water change today I saw a "worm" like critter crawl out of my LR. I was able to take a quick picture: Sorry about the pic, it was the best I could do in a hurry. It is worm like and moves like a millipeed. It's about 3-4 " long. And travel through the craters in the live rock. Any ideas? Friend or foe? Link to comment
jasontatro
Looks like a bristleworm to me. Link to comment
plapczynski
I looked up bristleworm and it's a match! Friend or foe in the reef? The size of it kinda scares me! Link to comment
jdsabin1
Friend. Think of them as the equivalent of our earthworm. They are great scavengers. Link to comment
jasontatro
Consider yourself lucky. I'm jealous. Still haven't seen one yet. There is some skinny worm thing that comes out of my rock at night and digs into the sand... don't know what it is yet. Link to comment
plapczynski
OK... this morning I found a Blue Legged hermit crab ripped out of it's shell. Could this be the culprit? Link to comment
