Im using "Seachem marine salt " fresh saltwater batch ph - 8.3 calcium - 500 alk - 4.8dkh can i attribute this to a bad batch of salt? The Propagator Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 Its not the salt its self its your CHOICE of salt. You should be using Seachem REEF salt. Marine salt is for fish. Its made with low alk, low cal. Reef salt has the proper blend. Link to comment
