seabass Posted September 8, 2003 Share Posted September 8, 2003 Have you been feeding any filter feeding foods? How’s your bio-load? Check your levels including phosphates and nitrates. ??? Maybe you should consider increasing the size and/or frequency of your water changes (or possibly even add a skimmer). Link to comment
kennerd Posted September 9, 2003 Share Posted September 9, 2003 describe the "brown": gooey, stringy(dinoflagellates), flat mat (diatoms), reddish (cyano), dusty (detritus)anywhere else in the tank (like the glass, rocks?) Have you had the tank since december or the brown stuff or both? What type of livestock? What are you feeding? Got to give us more details ti work with. Link to comment
