NorthCoralNewB
Hello Fellow Nano-Reefer's, I'm going to be purchasing a Coralife Turbo Twist 6x 18W UV Sterilizer. The barb fittings are for either 5/8" or 1" I'm looking for a flow rate of 225 GPHMin - 350 GPHMax that can use the same size of tubing to limit the use of an adapter. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment

Codeman
Won't a UV sterilizer kill good stuff like copepods and algae? Link to comment
121a
UVs are really only effective on larger systems. i run the 36w version on my 150g and i have it plumed to my return pump. Look into a maxi-jet 900 or 1200. Uvs generally aren't used on nanos and they do kill more good stuff than bad stuff, when your dealing with small volumes of water. Link to comment
