Siejuban Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 My LR is from liverocks.com, and there are many lives on them, I have at least 2 crab, one tiny serpent (bristle) starfish (it is white with red strip). Do I need to feed them? Any other question? Anyone here had LR from liverocks.com, and how long your cycling took? Right now, my water parameter is: Ammonia ~ 0.05ppm; Nitrite 0.ppm; Nitrate ~5ppm For 5 days. Is that normal? Link to comment
seabass Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 Looks normal. You don’t need to feed your hitchhikers. However, if you do, be careful not to overfeed (a small pellet once every other day would suffice). Left over food will provide additional fuel for your cycle (not really a good thing).
