Barb
I got a few new snails today 2 trochus and 2 ceriths. I acclimated them in a 2 gallon mini acrylic tank. The last trochus is stuck to the glass and I'm afraid if I yank him off it will kill him. He has a nice strong grip. How should I get him off the bottom of the tank? Thanks:o Link to comment
Barb
I got some suggestions on reef central. He came off really easily by holding his shell and applying gentle pressure to his side against the glass with a smooth object. He is now happily munching algae off the sides of my nano. Thanks! harbingerofthefish
a liitle too late, but yeah, it's almost like you have to scare them a little to make them let go. Link to comment
yOyOYoo
I yanked mine REALLY hard off of the plastic bag after acclimating him for 1.5hrs. I was scared I was going to rip him apart! He would not let go!! BUt now he's doing fine. Man, those suckers have a really strong grip. Link to comment
