edmund67
is there ever a case of to much calcium? If Ca levels measure to high is it bad for ur tank? Link to comment
tinyreef
too much Ca may precipitate into CaCO3 and in turn drive down your alk and pH as carbonate buffers are converted. Link to comment
Physh1
Along with what tinyreef said the only real cases of calcium levels that high would be a fairly severs overdose. It's pretty uncommon. Cameron Link to comment

Jahkaya
No worries unless you Ca is over 500 or 550. Even then I'd be more worried about DKH and Alk. Link to comment
Dave ESPI
if your calcium reads high, what is your reading for alk ? chances are it will be off, and throwing your test results to error. calcium will fall out of solution if it gets too high and in effect "snow" in your tank depending on the type of calcium it is. Glutinate or Bio calcium is a diff story alltogether. Link to comment
CalciumOverdose
actually, its possible to keep calcium levels up, while also maintaining a good alk and ph levels.. i personally run my calcium around 500-600 Link to comment
samstersam
i could surmise that from your handle... Link to comment
