Sun777
My amonia spiked to almost 1.5 overnight. I can only assume it has to do with a sponge or two starting to dye. The tank has had LR in in for almost 3days. I have a 28gal Nano and the lights are on for only 3hrs a day, the thing I did to the tank is to remove the ceramic filter media from the back chamber, I also have a Tunzee 6025 PH in the tank for extra circulation. I am going to do a water change and smell each sponge again. Anything else I should consider doing? Thanks Link to comment
bdare
The tank is cycling. This is normal. Don't sweat it. Link to comment

I pulled a pc of rock out tonight that smelled bad and it had some sort of clear jelly like sponge that looks to be dying off. http://picasaweb.google.com/scrapnchip/Fish Link to comment
