Water level in tank

I'm going to build a glass cube tank, 20" x 20" x 20" (50 cm) (~34 gallons (128 liters), frameless/rimless, basically the size of a Solana). I plan to use the 700 GPH overflow from glass-holes, but I'm thinking I will be pumping only about 4-500 gph through the sump. I'm going to use a Vortech MP20 for the rest of my flow. Right now I'm thinking that the overflow will be centered (it is 6.5"/16.5 cm wide) on the back, with a single return from the sump on one side of the back, and the Vortech on the other side.

I'd like the tank as full as possible (for looks), but I also want to be able to have some decent movement with out sloshing out of the tank. The guys at glass-holes tell me that at my target flow, the water level will be about half way up the teeth on the overflow. Any idea what I should target my water level to be?

Thanks!
