Skimmer for nano tank?

Hello,

 

I am sure this may have been asked before but thought I would re-visit this topic a little bit. I am new to reefin' and currently have a 7 months old aquapod 24. As title said, is there a real need for a skimmer for small tank?

 

Of course, without the skimmer, water change will be done everyweek and with consistency. Plus there will be chemical filtration and biological filtration such as cheato, carbon, filter floss, and chemipure.

 

I am thinking about introducing some SPS so I need the water to be clean as I have good flow in there.
