thegrandpoohbah
Sadly, you're going to have to learn to live with those scratches... Link to comment

Reeferton
I have a lot of experience polishing stones and watch crystals. You'll have to use wet diamond sandpaper, go from 200/300 grit, to 600, to 1200, then you will need a 50k diamond paste. Its possible, but not easy (or cheap). EDIT: I wouldn't think those discs linked to above would work well on flat glass... Link to comment
thegrandpoohbah
I was pointed to this on another forumhttp://www.gtglass.com/product_detail/161.html Notice what it says about the scratch thickness: 0.003". If you can catch it (the scratch) with your fingernail then it is too deep to sand out. Link to comment
