Rocket Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 I heavily modified my old sea-clone. It works OK for the 40 bucks you pay for it. I had it running HOB of Chamber 1 of my old AP24. It does work, just give it 4 days to break in. Then you get the annoying job of tuning the air supply. The mods I did: Cut the collection cub in half- installed pre set lengths of pvc to determine wet/ dry skimming. Brass twist valve for air line supply -much better control of air intake. Turned my MJ1200 into a needle wheel with a old bio ball thingy- Made much more tinny air bubbles. Did NOT use the foam that comes with the unit.- much better flow, less debris collection.
