After countless hours on this site and others, reading books and mags, and analyzing my budget, my attempt at producing and maintaining the seemingly impossible, has begun. I waited untill now to ask for guidance for fear of belittlement, and asking the obviouse dumb question that has been answered a hundred times and ways. But, I am here in search of support from the ample source of wisdom on this endeavour. I will not ask a question as of yet, just post my first experience of cycling and any questions or comments, critical or otherwise is always welcome to aid in what I hope will be a successful nano-reef. Set up 9/1/03 5:00 pm 5gal AGA mini-bow 7lbs LR 5lbs silica (white) 20 watt 65k Trying to fit additional 2 13 watt Rite-light 50/50 Whisper filter that came with tank - no media Waiting on power head from LFS 9/2/03 1:00 PM Temp 82 PH 7.8 NO2 .25 NO3 .00 Ammonia 1.0 Spec Grav 1.023 Tank looks great just a small film on the water Link to comment

I feel the same in that I have read, researched, and studied these posting for a couple of months and now I feel like an idiot. I knew all the answers last week, now I just want to ask.
