viejito55 Posted September 2, 2003 Share Posted September 2, 2003 can 1 mushroon expan and grow by itself? I literally just have one leaf(about less than an inch) I was wondering if it can expand since is not a bunch? I put it on my 4 gallon yesterday is has not open up yet! Link to comment
shadofax69 Posted September 2, 2003 Share Posted September 2, 2003 Yes it will grow and spread over the rock. Depending on how you aclimated it, it probably wont open for a few days. The best way to aclimate something is to drip it. The way to do this is to start a syphon from your tank with air line tubing then tie it in a lose knot to get a drip of 2 or 3 a second. The drip the bag for one to two hours and it is ready to be placed in your aquarium. When I do this most of my corals have opened up before they were even in the tank and looked great the day I put them in the aquarium Link to comment
