Really really small external pumps

aqua lifter is about all i can think of.

So if i have 2 holes at the bottom, I could use the aqua lifter for 3.5gph? (max they say)

If so, could I attach the Tom Aquatics Aqua Lifter Suction Pre-Filter before it goes to the aqua lifter?

I might have to get 2 if i use this, because 3.5gph will be around 1-2 once u add some height in account

edit: the what do you call it, width of the tube? is too small, I was hoping for at least 1/2" so I could install bulkheads and strainers

oops sorry for the double post

Okay so say I get a Eheim 1046, which says its external, it has a 79 gph rate. So if I put the pump say through 60" of tubing, this will most likely slow down the gph rate right? will this damage the pump, or is this okay

Edit:

so this tom aquatics rapids mini canister: http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~act...es~vendor~.html

goes 80gph, but it says its only once a hour, could I keep this operating non stop? probably not :(
