berv
Hello everyone, Just a quick question, would a 1/15 Mini Arctica Chiller be good enough? Or just to be safe, buy the 1/10 chiller, I'd rather use the smaller one so it will fit the cabinet. I have MH lights and the tank's temp is around 83F with the room air at 80F. Thanks guys! Big Sushi
Hello everyone, Just a quick question, would a 1/15 Mini Arctica Chiller be good enough? I have a JBJ NC28g HQI (150W MH) and the 1/20 Nano Arctica Chiller. My room temp only gets up to 84F and it has no effect on the water temperature with the chiller running. The water stays a stable 78 - 79F. So, the 1/15 should be plenty. Link to comment

HankB
... so it will fit the cabinet. Just be sure the cabinet has really good air flow. The chiller works by exhausting heat to the air around it and if that has no place to go, you'll just heat up the inside of the cabinet. If that happens, the chiller won't work as well and could fail prematurely. -hank Link to comment
