armyfishnj
I am a little puzzeled here. I have the red sea test kits for my tank. I just tested the water today and my results are: Ammonia-.25ppm Nitrite-0 Nitrate-0 I only have 17 pounds of live rock and about 70lbs of live sand. Have I cycled? Or am I at the end of my cycle? If I did cycle then my next biggest question would be that I haven't bought my lights yet. But would I be able to put in my cleaning crew now without the lights or would I have to wait until I bought my lights? Help????:*( Link to comment
caja
How long has the tank been up and running? Link to comment
Physh1
Yeah, we need some more info....how long has it been up for? Cameron Link to comment
Chupacabras
I don't trust those red sea kits one lick... I got readings of anywhere from .25 to .5 ammonia, .2 (if I remember right) nitrite... went out and got a new test for those two and they came up zero (as they should've). Go have your water tested by the LFS or get a different brand ammonia test if your tank has been up for a while, those red sea kits are craptastic IME. HTH Link to comment

armyfishnj
My tank has been up and running for about 3 weeks now with the rock and the live sand in it. I am betting that my cycle is done. I am just waiting to get my lights now. Link to comment
