bagoegg Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 No. Even if it was 30 it would not be ok. You dont know what those particles are. They COULD be copper which would harm your inverts. I would invest in an RO/DI unit or at least use distilled. My TDS was 32 from my tap and I still got an RO. The Mighty Might is cheap and easy to use and can hook up to your bathroom sink. That water is definitely not good enough for your tank. 142ppm is REALLY good for tap water and your RO/DI filters will last a LONG time Link to comment
