flaunt
why do you say you need to ground your tank, did you measure stray voltage? if so, you might want to check the different devices in your tank... like unplug them one at a time to see which device is causing the voltage. i had a heater that put about 5V in my tank at one time, i got rid of it. anyway, it doesn't seem normal to me to have to ground an aquarium, because properly grounded equipment ought not put voltage into the aquarium water. as far as buying or making a probe, what else is needed besides a wire going to a light switch plate? worked when i tried it awhile back.
