Physh1 Posted August 31, 2003 Share Posted August 31, 2003 Your cycling so it's normal. From what you told me about you ammonia spike your gonna have to wait it out. I think doing more water changes isn't gonna do any good since it's just gonna garble your water up more. Your cycle needs to make progress and tons of water changes won't help. During my cycle, I kept the sponge in and washed it every couple of days to keep it from going "biological"......helped to clear up the tank. Also, I do a weekly cleaning of my AQ150....I find that a ton of particles collect at the bottom of the chamber, so as part of my weekly w/c I clean it out. Link to comment
