MrKrispy
I have 2 globs of this macro algae growning in my tank, I wanted to pull it out and put it in my fuge. Anyone know what it is or have some info? Many of the long strands look like a string of tied sausages (!) or make me think of a see thru green tapeworm... First attempt at adding a pic sorry: Link to comment
MrKrispy
a little bigger, I can't really zoom in on the stuff sorry: Link to comment
caja
That would be hair algae, a nuisance algae. Link to comment
MrKrispy
well, hair algae is mixed in with it, and of course all over my rocks. Or are parts of it just super hair algae? The thick long tapeworm-like pieces I assumed were a different algae. There are air bubbles inside some of the segments. It is only growning in 2 spots like I said. Weird. Thanks! Link to comment
