relocating anenome

Hey guys,

 

I'm trying to move my anenome to a different spot in my tank. How do I go about doing that? Don't want to injure the anenome when I move it.

Well, first off if you do move him he can just move back if he wants too. SO moving him may do no good. The best way to do it is to move the rock he's on. If that's not possible (assuming it's not or you wouldn't be asking) you can do a few things.

 

I've progressively tried to peel his foot up but this takes time and a very gentle hand. I've also hung the rock he's on upsidedown out of water and they usually loosen and fall w/in 1/2 hour. I've done this many times w/ success.
